This is Teddy, a Jack Russell / Beagle Mix. Adopted by the Baker Family when he was
about 2 years old, he spent some time in the Kenton County Animal Shelter.
Luckily he has found a great home and the Bakers love him!
Now at about 7 years old he is a great family dog.

Thank you to the Purvis Family for submitting a photo of their cat, Fatty.
If you ask me, that is definitely an appropriate name!

Pudgy is a 5 year old Bearded Dragon belonging to Heather Wilson of San Diego, CA. She says that
Pudgy came to her underweight and not doing so well. Within three months Pudgy's weight had doubled.
They have driven across the country together and wherever they go Pudgy is a hit!
Balboa Park in San Diego is a favorite spot for Pudgy to go and and bask in the sun. She also likes to
meet the locals and tourists who are surprised to see a lizard on a leash but stop and chat, take photos and
leave knowing the "different" is pretty cool!

Wendy is a Border Collie / Lab Mix that belongs to the Straughn Family. She was adopted from the SPCA in
September 2009 as a tiny little pup. She had kennel cough which developed into pneumonia. She also
had knee problems, but with medicine and plenty of love she bounced back and is a healthy, happy
family pet! She chews up everything in sight and has been such a positive influence on the family.
Pam Straughn recommends that everyone adopt a pet from a shelter because they need you and
you need them more than you know!
We completely agree, Pam!

This is Adam and his corn snake, Elaphe. The snake, nicknamed "Saddles" because of his markings,
is a corn snake that Adam got as his first pet snake! By the looks of it he sure does
enjoy that snake. Not to mention Adam's wearing a cool shirt!

This is Skye, a Collie that is a big part of the Scoville Family. Skye is training
to be a therapy dog! He currently visits schools and nursing homes and brings smiles to
so many faces. What a great thing for the family and Skye to do! Thank you for
bringing the love of an animal to those that need it most.

This is Cupid, a bunny that belongs to the Haley Family. Cupid is about 7 years old and was adopted from
the Animal House who had rescued her along with her littermates. She lives in a large hutch inside the house
and loves to go for "hops" outdoors. She is kind of lazy and usually just lays in the grass chewing
on dandelions! She eats a steady diet of timothy hay, pellets and fresh green veggies. She loves
banana chips and fruit for a treat. Her name came from the markings on her eyes: one looks
like a heart and the other looks like an arrow.

Enix is a Corn Snake owned by Garrett. Garrett's dad says he has been doing very well with his
responsibilities as a young reptile owner. Garrett would like to be a herpetologist when he grows up!
Good luck, Garrett... you are well on your way to becoming a great herpetologist!
