Here at Cool Critters Outreach we do what we can to take in

the animals that need our help.  We can't do it without the kindness

of people like you.  So, we're putting a call out to see if you can

help some of our animals.

CCO needs a few items that would make the lives of our

reptiles a little easier.

Do you or someone you know have an outdoor dog kennel that

isn't being used (like the one below)?  How about an old large outdoor

dog house?  Well, our resident Sulcata Tortoises 

love to enjoy the outdoors during the summer, but they need to be enclosed

for their safety.  If you have one in good shape that you are willing

to donate to CCO, please give us a call or send us an email. 

How about an outdoor containment pen (like the one below)?  Again, this s

something that CCO could utilize throughout the summer.  We would

love for it to be portable so we can use it at programs.

Other items that we could use are: 

-  Food (greens, feeder fish, crickets, meat, chicken, rats, rabbits, etc)

-  UV Lights & Flood Lights

-  Newspaper

-  Cages (tanks of any size, old large bird cages, custom built cages)

-  Money (for obvious reasons)

If you have anything that you think would be useful for our

reptilian friends, please don't hesitate to call or email.  We can

come and pick it up, no problem.

We can always use large aquariums / tanks (in good shape), the

plastic critter cages (like you see in the stores), heat lamps, etc. 

If you think it will work and be useful to us, chances are

we can use it in some way, shape, or form.

Our biggest wish list item?  We are currently using 2 vehicles to transport our animals.

One is a minivan with more than 150,000 miles on it that needs 

constant work.  The other is a Saturn 4 door car that we have to

place the animals in like a puzzle.  That car drinks oil like a 

marathon runner.

What we would love to be able to utilize, honestly, is a Honda Element, Scion XB, or

another type of box-like vehicle that has plenty of room

to haul these animals around.  

I know it's a long shot, but I have to put the word out.  While the donations are

currently not tax-deductible, if the donating party is a business we 

will contract with that business to endorse their product. 

If it's an individual we will contract with you to receive several free

CCO programs each year for a to-be-determined length of time.

All we ask is that the vehicle is in great shape both 

mechanically and visually.
