Owner / Director Brian Gill with one of the resident Burmese Pythons, Salazar

Brian is the Director / Owner of Cool Critters Outreach, llc.

A self-taught herpetologist, he started CCO in an effort to share his love and

fascination of reptiles with the public.

Brian has been fascinated with reptiles since he was a

little kid.  However, his mother and father wouldn't allow

him to keep any as pets.  So, when he moved

out he started his collection.  With his first few

reptiles he would take them into his children's classrooms

and share the animals with the students.

Brian has dealt with reptiles for more than 15 years.

He had worked for the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

as a Nocturnal Adventures Instructor for 2 years.

He has also volunteered his time with another

reptile rescue in the area.

After working for the zoo and volunteering for another

rescue, it was time to do reptile education his own way.

CCO's focus is on education, which is just how Brian

envisioned it from the beginning.  The rescue came shortly

after starting CCO, and now he's involved in every

aspect of the education and rescue operations.

Brian has been in newspapers, magazines, radio and on television.

The future of CCO is bright, and Brian plans on being

involved with it every step of the way.
